Ok, so we all know how there has been a huge push for recycling goods. Paper, bottles, cans, and scrap metal; what do these things all have in common? At one point they were tossed into the garbage dumps with the rest of our trash. Now these items can be recycled and sometimes even traded for in for cash. My grandparents generation pumped thousands of if not millions of tons of waste right into our water system. My generation is coming up with ways to filter that polution out of the water. So there's the background information, but what is my prediction? My prediction is that within the next 5-10 years you're going to hear some talk about bandwidth recycling. The internet has exploded since it was developed. It is used everywhere now; the ways it is being used and the systems using it are also improving. With that said, something like 60% of internet traffic is spam. It's allready started actually, Comcast announced that they are going to cut service to users that hog over 250 GB of bandwidth per month. Just keep your eyes and ears open. When Obama tells you that cutting down on time spent viewing Youtube will save America I'll try not to say, "I told you so."
Allright, so check out my new desktop.

I've used two add-ons to change the way that my desktop looks. The first I used to change the visual style of my Windows setup. This changed the start menu down at the bottom, the way that windows look, and the start menu. Download it here. You will need to patch your system for that visual style to work. I've uploaded a patcher that works on XP Service Pack 2 and 3 here.
The second add-on I used to get that bar looking thing on the right hand side, the clock, the notes, RSS feed, and the system summary at the bottom. More information on that can be found here.
Took a little bit of tweaking, but said and done I'd say it was worth it.
